In this blog, I would be discussing about how we can create a simple dashboard in Power BI using the data that I had loaded in Power BI which is mentioned in my previous blog. Along with creating simple dashboard.

Consume Data with Power BI

Load your data from excel, or any other source where you are having your data set. You can take data by clicking on get data button from Power BI console.

Creating Dashboard in Power BI

In this dashboard I will be creating various visualizations for different fields and it will be shown in the reports tab of Power BI. To start with I will be creating a visualization which shows the representation of quantity sold by item category. For creating this visualization I chose sales_qty and Item category and choose the visualization from the visualization tab.I chose the pie chart for this visualization.

Next I have created a Funnel representation which is used to get the sales quantity representation for all the payment type. To create this visualization choose sales_qty and pay_type attributes from Details table.

Then I created visualization for sale cost by customer country and for that I used Donate chart representation.

So, By using various data visualization we can create our own dashboard to manage business works and we can easily see the graphical representation of data using Power BI dashboard.
